A cloudy day. A dry morning over Shetland, but outbreaks of rain over Orkney will extend to Shetland in the afternoon. Fresh or strong easterly winds, easing later across Orkney though an increasing chance of mist there. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Damp misty conditions with rain becoming confined to Sheland during the evening, as Orkney turns clearer though with the odd shower. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Tuesday 25th October:

A few early showers over Shetland otherwise a much brighter and mainly dry day with some sunshine. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wet and windy for a time on Wednesday then brighter later. Thursday mainly dry bright and breezy. Cloudier on Friday with some showers.
