Dull, wet, windy morning, with some heavy outbreaks developing. Clearing with mix of sunshine and showers feeding from south, reaching Orkney early afternoon and Shetland late afternoon, with strong winds veering south to southwest in the clearance. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Clear spells and a few isolated generally light showers through the evening and night. Brisk south to southwest winds perhaps touching gale across Shetland for a time overnight. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Thursday 27th October:
Further mix of brighter spells and scattered showers, with Shetland seeing the bulk of the outbreaks. Southerly winds strong at first. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Occasionally unsettled, seasonally mild, with generally southerly winds. Mainly cloudy with showers or longer periods of rain, but also some drier and brighter interludes in-between.
