Mainly dry this morning with some sunshine. Dry this afternoon with some sunshine but clouding over across Orkney and Fair Isle later, perhaps some low cloud across Fair Isle towards dusk. Strong southwesterly winds across Shetland easing by afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Patchy rain spreading across Orkney for a time this evening, and then to Shetland in the early hours. Some misty low cloud developing across Shetland. Mild. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Friday 28th October:

After a dry morning rain will spread north across all areas in the afternoon. Misty low cloud across Shetland in the morning. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Dry across Orkney on Saturday, chance of cloud and patchy rain across Shetland. Further rain likely for a time on Sunday before it turns drier on Monday.
