The odd shower across Shetland this morning otherwise dry today with some brightness. Dry, bright this morning across Orkney but rain developing through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Rain spreading to Shetland and Fair Isle this evening, turning drier in the early hours. Cloud and rain gradually clearing from Orkney this evening, then mainly dry and clear. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Sunday 6th November:

Orkney rather cloudy at times with a few showers. Shetland mainly dry but showers likely later in the day. Brisk southerly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

South to southwesterly winds will bring sunny or clear periods and a few showers or occasionally longer spells of rain. Windy at times.
