A cloudy day with some light rain or drizzle at times, especially across Shetland, and rather misty with extensive hill fog. Fresh or strong southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Remaining cloudy through the evening and night with further light rain or drizzle at times, mist and hill fog clearing as the southeasterly winds strengthen further. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Tuesday 15th November:

Another cloudy day with patchy light rain or drizzle, turning heavier and more persistent later across Orkney. Southeasterly winds increasing to gale force over exposed headlands later. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Overnight rain and gales becoming confined to Shetland on Wednesday whilst brightening up over Orkney. Rain and severe southeasterly gales on Thursday, followed by showers on Friday as winds ease.
