Tonight:
Further wintry showers on strong or gale force northerly winds, but showers turning to rain or sleet at low levels with snow level lifting a touch, though still very cold. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Thursday 8th December:
Less frequent wintry showers in morning and of rain or sleet at low levels, but heavier, more frequent showers in afternoon, though snow level lifting a little more, Still windy. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Continuing showery, with snow down to lower levels again, though snow level rising again Sunday. Strong northerly winds easing and turning east on Saturday then becoming southeasterly on Sunday.
