Today 8th March:
The frequent snow showers will continue across the Northern Isles on Wednesday, although perhaps easing for a time during the afternoon. Light to moderate northerly winds. Maximum temperature 2 °C.
Tonight:
Another cold night. Scattered snow showers will continue through the evening and overnight along with light to moderate north or northeast winds. Minimum temperature -8 °C.
Thursday 9th March:
Scattered snow showers will continue, although becoming lighter and less frequent than recent days. Light winds. Maximum temperature 2 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Remaining cold with sleet and snow showers continuing to the end of the week. Strengthening northerly winds Friday night and again on Sunday, with light winds on Saturday.
