Tonight:

Overcast with patchy light rain or drizzle initially, merging to longer, heavier rain across Orkney by late evening, which extends to Shetland overnight. Strong south to southeast winds. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Monday 10th April:

Overcast wet start, clearing to scattered showers and sunshine across Orkney during the morning, and eventually Shetland in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Tuesday brings light winds and only a few scattered showers between brighter spells. Wednesday and Thursday rather cloudy with showers or longer periods of rain.
