Tonight:

Cloudy with clear spells interspersed with the occasional shower, these mainly across Shetland. The brisk northwesterly wind will ease steadily through the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday 2nd May:

Sunny spells, a few isolated and wintry showers across Shetland but mainly dry across Orkney. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A mainly dry few days with sunny spells increasing Thursday and Friday. Light winds Wednesday, freshening southeasterly Thursday increasing strong Friday.
