Tonight:

Isolated and wintry showers across Shetland gradually die to leave a dry night for most with cloudy skies interspersed with clear spells. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday 3rd May:

Dry with sunny spells across Shetland but mostly cloudy with patchy rain spreading across Orkney for a time in the morning. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A mainly dry few days with sunny spells increasing Thursday and Friday becoming cloudy with rain spreading north Saturday. Freshening southeasterly winds Thursday increasing strong Friday, decreasing later Saturday.
