A lot of low cloud lingering throughout the day along with fog patches. Best chance of bright and sunny spells likely to be across the west side of Orkney and northwest Shetland. Southerly breezes freshening. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

A mainly dry, breezy evening and night. Fog patches lifting. Later in the night there could be a few patches of rain. Fresh southerly winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Sunday 14th May:

Cloudy in the morning and early afternoon with outbreaks of rain, some heavy, then brightening up from the west with some late sunshine. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

There will be a mixture of sunshine and showers, and it will be cold enough on Tuesday for these showers to be wintry.
