Rain over Shetland dying out then a good deal of dry and quite bright weather. Thicker cloud edging in later bringing some rain this evening. Fresh southerly winds this morning, becoming lighter this afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C.


Cloudy with outbreaks of rain at first tonight. Dry weather following from west to all parts later tonight with sunny spells developing. Light winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday 21st May:

Last of any overnight rain soon clearing away and clouds breaking up. This will leave a dry and bright day with sunny spells and light winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

It will be a mainly dry few days with some sunshine and a few light passing showers. Fresh west or northwesterly winds.
