Weather Forecast: Becoming brighter with some good sunny spells

Today 1st June:

A rather cloudy start with, especially across Orkney, patchy drizzle, however it will soon become brighter with some good spells of sunshine developing. Occasionally fresh northerly winds easing. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

A dry and largely sunny evening. Remaining dry overnight but cloud across Shetland increasing. A chilly night with light winds. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Friday 2nd June:

Another bright day with, especially across Orkney, some good sunny spells. Cloudier at times across Shetland but it should remain dry. Light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Rather cloudy through the coming days with a little drizzle is possible at times, the best of any brighter, sunnier spells across Orkney. Mainly light westerly or northwesterly winds.
