Mostly dry, but generally cloudy. Some bright or sunny spells but there could also be the odd shower, especially over Shetland. Winds remaining light or moderate, from the west or northwest over Shetland but mostly easterly winds over Orkney. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

The odd clear spell overnight, but staying mostly cloudy with still the risk of a few showers, though mostly for Shetland. Light winds becoming north or northeast over all parts. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Thursday 8th June:

Generally cloudy, but bright with some sunshine breaking through. Again the risk of a few fleeting light showers. Light east or southeast winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Mostly dry and bright on Friday and Saturday but some low cloud and patchy mist. Cloudy on Sunday with risk of heavy showers and winds may strengthen for a time.
