Today 20th June:
Some early fog soon clearing Shetland, then mainly dry and fine with bright or sunny spells. Showers pushing north over Orkney into the afternoon, these potentially heavy. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Tonight:
Showers or longer spells of rain pushing northwards over the Northern Isles into this evening, with further areas of mist or fog overnight. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Wednesday 21st June:
A cloudy and wet start to the day tomorrow, with some fog, particularly for Shetland. Improving into the afternoon, although chance of a few showers for Orkney. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Mainly dry through Thursday, and to start on Friday, with patchy cloud. Rain arriving from the west later on Friday, clearing Saturday morning to sunny spells.
