Still the risk of a few showers around, but many places dry with some good spells of sunshine. Risk of more frequent showers in the evening. Freshening southerly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Sunny or clear spells across the Northern Isles with frequent showers across Orkney at first, moving to Shetland after midnight. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Friday 30th June:

Sunny spells with isolated showers. Showers become widespread across Orkney for a time in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Remaining changeable with sunshine and a few showers, perhaps some longer spells of rain over the weekend. Windy at times. becoming drier and brighter Monday.
