Tonight:

A cloudy evening and night with rain or drizzle at times, this most persistent across Orkney. Turning drier across Shetland later. Brisk northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Monday 3rd July:

Shetland mainly dry with sunny intervals. Orkney cloudy with occasional rain, turning drier and brighter from the north later. Winds easing. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A mainly dry and bright few days with just the odd light shower. Light winds.
