Cloudy with outbreaks of rain throughout the day today, this heavy at times across Orkney. Brightening up in the north later in the afternoon. Strong west to northwesterly winds easing. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Rain in the south at first this evening but soon clearing to bright or clear spells, and a few showers overnight. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Tuesday 4th July :

There will be scattered showers and sunny spells tomorrow with a northwesterly breeze. Perhaps cloudier for a time in the north later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Bright or sunny spells and a few showers on Wednesday and Thursday. Dry to start on Friday but rain arriving from the south later with increasing southeasterly winds.
