Bright spells with some sunshine although cloudier over Shetland this afternoon. Staying dry for much of the day but there will a few light passing showers. Light west or northwest breeze. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy but the clouds breaking at times to give some clear intervals. Dry for much of the night, just a few light showers continuing. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Wednesday 5th July:

It will be a mostly dry day and becoming brighter with some sunshine. Light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A mostly dry few days with southeast winds becoming strong. Thicker cloud on Friday may bring some patchy rain for a time, especially over Orkney.
