This evening and tonight will be cloudy with showers or some longer periods of rain, briefly heavy. Freshening northwesterly winds across Orkney later in the night. Patchy haar. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Wednesday 12th July:

Cloudy with showers through the day, these easing towards evening. Brisk northwesterly winds across Shetland. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Fewer showers on Thursday followed by a mostly dry and brighter day on Friday. Rain spreading north later on Saturday.
