Chance of some evening brightness across Orkney this evening. Otherwise often cloudy with a few passing light showers. Brisk northwesterly wind continuing across Shetland overnight. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Thursday 20th July:

Little change, still rather cloudy with some light showers, Orkney seeing the best of chance of any sunshine. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Still the chance of a few showers on Friday. Fewer showers and more in the way of brighter weather over the weekend.
