Weather Forecast: Bright Spells and Scattered Showers

Today 24th July:

Bright spells but always a good deal of cloud with best of the sunshine across Orkney this afternoon. Dry for much of the time but there will be some showers, passing by quickly. Brisk northwesterly wind. Maximum temperature 14 °C.


Rather cloudy at first with further showers, mostly dying out. Clear then sunny spells developing later tonight. Lighter northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Tuesday 25th July:

It will be a brighter day with sunny spells and just a few light showers. Cool with lighter northwest winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A mainly dry few days with best of the sunshine across Shetland. Orkney will become cloudier later Thursday and on Friday with some showers breaking out.
