A mix of scattered showers and bright or sunny spells throughout the day, showers mostly light but the odd heavier one. Increasing northwesterly winds, particularly across Shetland. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Showers easing through the evening to leave bright or clear spells. Staying mostly dry overnight. Clouding over from the north by morning. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Wednesday 26th July:

Cloudy with the odd spot of rain at first but this soon clearing to leave a dry day with sunny spells. Winds easing. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Largely dry with sunny spells across Shetland over the coming days. Cloudier with rain or showers at times for Orkney. Strong easterly winds at times.
