Shetland will have a cloudy day with occasional rain or drizzle, perhaps the odd heavy burst, along with some haar. Orkney will be mainly dry with bright spells and some sunny intervals, perhaps just the odd shower. Moderate southeast breeze. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Orkney will have a dry evening and night, with some sunny then clear interludes, though low cloud and haar may develop later. Shetland cloudy with rain and occasional haar. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Sunday 30th July:

Rain over Shetland dying out by morning then the Northern Isles dry and bright with some sunny intervals, and light winds. Risk of patchy low cloud and haar. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday looks dry and bright with some sunny spells and mainly light winds. Cloudier on Tuesday and Wednesday with perhaps a little rain.
