A mainly dry day with some spells of sunshine, chance of a few afternoon showers across Orkney. Haar may affect parts of Shetland at times. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Chance of some late brightness this evening. Otherwise a rather cloudy night with a few showers, more especially later on. Low cloud and haar developing across Shetland. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Sunday 13th August:

Mainly dry with just the odd shower. Orkney will see some sunshine but low cloud and haar will linger across Shetland. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Apart from the odd shower it will be a mainly dry few days although haar may linger across Shetland at times.
