Tonight:

Some brightness at first over Shetland, otherwise mostly cloudy and misty with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. Becoming drier across Orkney later. A mild and breezy night. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Monday 4th September:

Mostly cloudy with further spells of rain or drizzle, mainly across Shetland. Orkney seeing some drier and brighter periods. Occasionally strong southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Rain clearing south on Tuesday then dry with sunny spells and light winds. Dry on Wednesday and Thursday with bright spells but also some low cloud and haar.
