There will be a mix of sunshine and scattered showers for Shetland through the day, mainly dry for Orkney. Feeling cool with a fresh northerly wind. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Scattered showers will continue across Shetland this evening but easing overnight, with prolonged clear spells over the Northern Isles. Feeling cool inland. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Wednesday 13th September:

Largely dry and sunny for much of the day on Wednesday. Clouding over from the south during the afternoon, with rain arriving later in the evening. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Rain clearing north Thursday morning, then a mix of sunshine and showers through the rest of the day. Bright or sunny spells and a few showers Friday and Saturday.
