Today 14th September:

Rain over Shetland soon clearing, then a mixture of sunshine and showers through the rest of the day. Winds will be strong to gale force from the southwest Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

The showers will become well scattered and the winds gradually easing, but remaining strong across northern Shetland. Occasional clear spells developing. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Friday 15th September:

A bright day with occasional sunny spells and a scattering of showers. Winds continuing to ease and turning into the north or northwest. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Plenty of dry and settled conditions on Saturday and Sunday with sunny or clear spells and winds often light. Rain or showers on Monday, heavy at times with strengthening winds.
