Today 16th September:

It will be a mainly dry day with long sunny spells developing. Just the chance of the odd shower in the morning. A northerly breeze, fresh at times in the morning, then easing. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

It will remain dry with long clear spells overnight. A chilly night with light winds but a southerly breeze picking up later across Orkney. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday 17th September:

Another dry and bright day with plenty of sunshine. Some showery rain arriving during the evening with strengthening southerly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Windy with spells of heavy rain on Monday, clearing Orkney in afternoon then Shetland in evening. Dry and bright with light winds on Tuesday then wet and windy on Wednesday.
