Orkney 2025 would like to work with local hotels to maximise opportunities for the Games. Thank you to those who have already signed up to reserve accommodation. Our Travel and Accommodation partner, Nirvana Europe, would like to meet with as many accommodation providers as possible and larger accommodation providers (5+ beds) to start securing rooms
and paying deposits for Games week in July 2025. They will be making contact shortly with a view to holding in person meetings in the week commencing Monday 30th October. They will be in touch with each property directly but in the meantime, feel free to email orkney2025@nirvanaeurope.com to secure your slot.
Catering
Work is ongoing to engage with local caterers to explore the Games-time catering opportunities. If you missed our catering engagement days and still want to be part of the event, whether it be a mobile caterer at our Games Catering Village or an event caterer feeding athletes at our dormitories, then please contact us info@orkney2025.com We are also exploring potential to provide carbon-free power to catering units in line with our ambition to make the Games as low carbon and sustainable as possible.
Our Sponsors
The Orkney 2025 Organising Committee would like to say a special thank you to all our sponsors who have generously committed to the Games so far, we couldn’t do this without you.

Mascot Design Competition
We have been utterly amazed by the sheer number of entries we’ve received for our Mascot Competition – thank you to everyone who has taken part. It has been a joy to look through all the entries and now we can’t wait to share them with our
independent judging panel. Once the winner has been found, we will get the Mascot made and the winner will only be informed once they can meet the Mascot in person… so you’ll have to wait a little longer to find out if it is you. Good luck!
Games Medal Designs
And finally, members of Creative Orkney now have the opportunity to enter a fantastic competition to design the medals for the 20th International Island Games here on Orkney.
