Mostly dry with good clear spells, but cloud building across Shetland towards dawn to bring the chance of scattered showers. Southeast breezes freshening around coast. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Tuesday 24th October:
Occasional showers and brighter spells. Best of the sunshine expected across Orkney and through the morning, with brightness limited otherwise. Feeling cooler than Monday in the fresh southeast breezes. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Mainly cloudy with showers or longer periods of rain, focused across Orkney, with Shetland markedly drier and seeing the best of the limited brighter spells and lighter winds.
