A strong easterly wind and cloudy skies will accompany outbreaks of light rain over Orkney. Shetland stays mostly dry with bright spells and a light breeze. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Dry with clear spells and light winds Shetland at first. Increasing rain and a strengthening easterly wind over Orkney spreads to Shetland later. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Thursday 26th October:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain becoming drier over Shetland from the afternoon. Strong southeasterly winds ease over Shetland towards evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Sunny spells with a few showers Friday and Saturday becoming frequent Sunday. Becoming cold and windy Saturday and Sunday.
