Tonight:

There will be occasional showers and some clear spells this evening and overnight. Winds will remain light, mainly east or southeast across Shetland and variable over Orkney. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Tuesday 7th November:

A bright day with sunny spells and scattered showers. Winds will be light and variable. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Strengthening winds on Wednesday with heavy rain sweeping across Orkney, becoming persistent over Shetland Wednesday night, turning showery on Thursday. Strong winds and showers across Orkney and Shetland on Friday
