Most staying dry with only a few light isolated showers expected, also frequent sunny spells appearing. Winds light to moderate mainly from the east to northeast. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Clear spells early evening. Higher cloud feeding from the south overnight. Remaining mostly dry with only a few isolated light showers appearing. Winds increasing to a strong southeasterly by dawn Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Saturday 18th November:

Cloudy with rain pushing across Orkney during the morning, before extending over Shetland during through the afternoon. Southeast winds strong, perhaps touching gale for a time. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday overcast with periods of rain, heavy at times. Clearing to showers and brighter spells Monday. Tuesday starting dry, bright, but increasing chance of rain feeding from the west later.
