Wednesday 22nd November:

Morning rain clears Shetland early and Orkney by midday, soon followed by bright spells and showers. Windy. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Continuing windy with gales and showers turning wintry Thursday. Cold and windy with occasional sleet and snow showers Friday. The wind and showers ease for a time during Saturday.
