A cold and often cloudy day with a few sunny spells. Showers continuing through the day, wintry at first. Fresh to strong north or northwesterly winds, occasionally gale force at first across Shetland. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Tonight:

Partly cloudy with a few showers this evening. Becoming largely dry in the early hours with a few clear periods. Fresh north to northwesterly winds easing down overnight. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Saturday 25th November:

A largely dry day with a few sunny intervals although a fair amount of cloud around. Lighter northerly winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Rain will spread from the northeast, although Orkney dry until later. Cold with a few showers on Monday and Tuesday.
