Two new books by Stronsay authors will be launched on Thursday 7th of December.

In the Furious Grip of an Orkney Gale by Ian Cooper tells the stories of Stronsay shipwrecks and strandings.

And you can spend a Summer with the Orkney Puffins with Bill Hodgson. Both books are retailing at £15 with a special price of £12 for the launch at the Stronsay Fish Mart, 7pm. Some of the proceeds from the sales will be going to the renovation of the Stronsay Heritage Centre.
