Another largely dry day with sunny spells.. Again, a few isolated showers are possible, more especially in coastal areas. Winds will be light and variable. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Tonight:

There will be variable cloud cover and some clear spells this evening and tonight. Mostly dry over Orkney but a few more showers over Shetland where moderate southwest breezes develop. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Wednesday 13th December:

Another bright day with some sunny spells th best over Orkney. A few showers over Shetland. Southwesterly breezes slowly freshening. Rain and strong to gale southerly winds overnight. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Sunny intervals and showers on Thursday and Friday, Cloudy with rain on Saturday, very windy with severe gales possible for a time. Turning milder,
