Mainly dry early evening across Shetland, otherwise overcast with occasional rain. West to southwest winds increasing strong to near gale overnight. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Sunday 17th December:

Cloudy with occasional light rain and drizzle. Fresh to strong west to southwest winds easing light during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday mainly dry with brighter spells and winds freshening later. Tuesday brings blustery showers. Showers for Wednesday turning wintry at times.
