Construction work is ongoing at Deerness Distillery in the company’s ambitious development plans to create a top quality visitor centre with a café, bar and shop, at their East Mainland premises.

Deerness Distillery was established in 2016 to produce gin, vodka, whisky and liqueurs.

The company’s Sea Glass Gin, released in Spring 2017, is multi-award winning, and the family run Distillery now has a wide range of drinks, including creating a unique malt whisky.

The expansion plans for the Visitor Centre will be a welcome place for visitors and locals in Orkney to enjoy a café and shopping experience in Deerness.
