A rather cloudy and mainly dry day with the occasional bright or sunnier spell across Orkney. Perhaps the chance of a light shower for Shetland. Brisk southeast winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

A largely dry evening with clear spells for Orkney but more in the way of cloud for Shetland. The odd light shower possible later. Winds easing for Shetland. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Friday 8th March 💃 :

A mainly cloudy but dry day. A few brighter spells are possible at times, albeit with the odd light shower too. Feeling colder with brisk easterly winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

A largely cloudy weekend with some brighter spells but occasional light showers. Easterly winds winds will become strong at times, especially for Orkney. Becoming dry on Monday with winds easing.Updated:
