Shetland and Fair Isle will have a dull day with rain and drizzle. Orkney will be mainly dry and cloudy with just a little light rain at times. Cold. Brisk southeasterly winds across northern Shetland. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with drizzly rain across Shetland and Fair Isle this evening. Heavier rain will spread north across all areas after midnight. Fresh to strong southeasterly winds, veering southwesterly later. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Wednesday 13th March:

Overnight cloud and rain soon clearing away to leave some bright or sunny intervals and a few showers, these mainly in the afternoon. Windy, strong to gale southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Bright and mainly dry on Thursday, a few early showers. Cloudy with rain on Friday and early Saturday, then the rest of Saturday will be dry.
