Today 15th March:

A largely cloudy morning with occasional showers. Bright or sunny spells developing through the afternoon with showers becoming more isolated for a time. Fresh northerly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Tonight:

Clear spells and a few showers, these most frequent across Shetland but becoming drier towards dawn. Moderate to fresh northerly winds will tend to ease. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Saturday 16th March:

The odd shower to start the morning. Otherwise a dry and bright day with spells of sunshine. Southeasterly winds will become strong for Orkney in the evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Rain and drizzle gradually clearing north during Sunday, followed by bright conditions and the odd shower. Changeable Monday and Tuesday with bright spells but also risk of rain or showers.
