Misty through the morning with patchy rain or drizzle across Shetland, clearing through the afternoon. Otherwise a dry day with sunny spells, the best of these in the afternoon. Feeling much warmer in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Dry at first with some clear spells, but cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading northeast through the evening. Strengthening southerly winds with coastal gales at times. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Tuesday 19th March:

Cloud with outbreaks of rain and strong winds with coastal gales at times on Tuesday morning. Becoming brighter and drier through the afternoon with a few showers as winds ease. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Lighter winds with a few showers on Wednesday. Strong winds and heavy rain for a time Thursday morning before clearer spells more showers continuing through Friday.
