Cloudy at first but last of overnight rain soon dying out. Then mainly dry with just a few light showers. Also becoming brighter with some sunshine, especially across Orkney. Mostly light winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Most places will have a dry night with clear periods. Thicker cloud later tonight may bring a few light showers Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Saturday 30th March:

A few light showers at first, then a dry day across the Isles with sunny spells. Light southerly winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

It will be a mainly dry few days. Some sunshine on Sunday with light winds, then rather cloudy on Monday and Tuesday with strengthening northeasterly winds.
