Tonight:

Dry for much of the night. A few clear periods over Shetland otherwise mostly cloudy. There will be a few light showers, then more persistent rain reaching Orkney towards morning. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Saturday 6th April:

Cloudy with rain extending to Shetland in the morning, Drier, brighter weather following to Orkney in afternoon and Shetland early evening. Windy with southeast then southerly gales. Milder. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Very windy on Sunday with sunshine and passing showers. Mainly dry on Monday with strong winds easing later. Cloudy with lighter winds and rain at times on Tuesday.
