Today 8th April:

Chance of a few showers in the morning. The afternoon will be largely dry with some sunshine. Still windy across Shetland and Fair Isle with fresh to strong southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

This evening will be dry with some late sunshine, winds across Shetland easing down. Thickening cloud will bring later in the night, but northern Shetland may remain dry. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tuesday 9th April:

A cloudy day with persistent rain, turning drier from the west in the evening. Strengthening northwesterly winds later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Dry for most of Wednesday but rain spreading northeast later in the afternoon. Mainly dry with a few light showers on Thursday. Further rain developing later on Friday.
