Apart from a light passing shower across Shetland it will be a dry day with some good spells of sunshine. Fresh to strong southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Thickening cloud will bring rain for a time this evening. Then becoming clearer and drier with the odd passing shower, more especially across Shetland later. Fresh to strong southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Saturday 13th April:

A mostly cloudy day with showers, perhaps some longer spells of rain developing later. Less windy. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

A bright and colder few days with occasional showers. Chance of overnight ground frost where skies become clear.
