Great time had by all at Deerness Community’s Fun Bingo Night

On Saturday 20th April Deerness Community held a Fun Bingo night in the Hall. ‘Fun Bingo’ because they’re designed for family fun rather than serious bingo players.

In other words, there were no big prizes. Even so every table was full, and we all had a great time.

Number is displayed on a large screen at the front of the halls as people are ready to play the game — Isabel Alexander calls us to order

Isabel Alexander was the MC, and I was the caller which consisted of clicking the mouse when a new number was required. Shawn Alexander provided the PA ensuring everybody could hear the slightly dubious number announcements made by the computer.

There was a special game for under 16s where they had to sit down when their number was called. The last one standing was the winner.
