Today 12th May:

Mainly dry with haar becoming more patchy during the morning. This will allow some warm sunshine, especially on north and western coasts. Fresh southeasterly breeze. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Staying dry with some clear spells for Shetland, perhaps the odd patch of haar. Turning cloudier for Orkney with some showery rain possible through the early hours. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Monday 13th May:

Somewhat cloudy with a few showers or longer spells of rain for Shetland, becoming drier for Orkney. Coastal haar spreading north later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Somewhat cloudy with a few showers between bright spells on Tuesday. Drier Wednesday and Thursday with some bright spells, but haar at times. Fresh southeast winds.
